  • Mayonnaise
  • Baked goods
  • Sauces

Shellfish includes:

  • Shrimp
  • Prawns
  • Lobster
  • Crab
  • Mussels
  • Oysters

Legumes include:

  • All beans
  • Peanuts
  • Lentils
  • Chickpeas
  • Black-eyed peas
  • Edamame
  • *Green Beans are OK
  • **Many meat alternatives are made from legumes. Check labels!

Nightshades include:

  • Tomatoes
  • Bell peppers
  • Chili peppers
  • Eggplant
  • Jalapeno
  • Potato
  • Pepino
  • Banana peppers
  • Tobacco
  • Paprika
  • Tomatillos
  • Pimentos

You may be thinking, "What am I going to eat?!" This is a time to revisit your resources and recipes. You can be as creative or as simple as you'd like. Find what works for you here! A simple equation for a meal is: Protein + non-starchy vegetable + starchy vegetable + fats. Focus on flavor and colorful foods!
