Week 1 Eliminations

During week one of the program, the following dietary items are to be eliminated:

  1. Sugar
    • White and brown sugar, including turbinado
    • Products that include refined sugar (ice cream, pastries, candy, sodas)
    • Honey
    • Maple syrup
    • High fructose corn syrup
  2. Artificial sweeteners
    • Equal®
    • Nutrasweet®
    • Splenda®
    • Sweet and Low®
  3. Fruit juice
    • Apple juice
    • Orange juice (including fresh squeezed)
    • Pineapple juice
    • Grape juice, etc.

Hidden Sugars: Sugar can be disguised under various names, so it's important to read ingredient labels diligently during the elimination phase of the program.

Note on Alcohol: If you are a daily heavy drinker, it is crucial to consult your doctor before quitting alcohol abruptly due to the potential risks of alcohol withdrawal. Please seek medical guidance.
